Richard A. Lukich, President
Richard A. Lukich has served as board chairman of Constellation Schools LLC since its inception in 2000. Constellation Schools operates seventeen community schools in northeast Ohio, serving approximately 4,800 children. Mr. Lukich has been District Counsel of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Cleveland District Office since 1988. He received his B.A. from Cleveland State University and his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Prior to joining SBA, he was engaged in the private practice of law. In addition, he served as Acting Counsel for the Cleveland Bar Association, and as Special Counsel for the Ohio Attorney General.
Rebecca L. Keeney, Executive Director
Rebecca L. Keeney has served as a member of the Constellation board for 17 years, along with leading organizational strategic planning sessions. Prior to joining Constellation she was a proven leader in the stringent regulatory environment of healthcare for 40 years, responsible for multiple departments across several locations. Additionally, she taught Leadership Development classes which included LEAN, a methodology used in process improvement. She received her B.A. from Ottawa University and supported community projects as a member of the 2014 class of Leadership Lorain County.
Thomas F. Babb, Chief Financial Officer
Thomas F. Babb has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Constellation Schools since it’s’ inception. He has 36 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer, auditor and contract administrator in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors. Prior to joining Constellation Schools on a full time basis he served as Chief Financial Officer of the West Geauga Local School District, the Cleveland San Jose Ballet, and the Cleveland Housing Network. He also served as the fiscal officer for the Cleveland Empowerment Zone and as Controller for Help Foundation. Before working in the not-for-profit and government sectors, he was an auditor and contract administrator for The Standard Oil Company of Ohio. He has successfully managed the financial activities of each organization he has worked with and has 28 years of experience in managing the financial portions of federal grants awarded by the U.S. Departments of Education, Housing and Urban Development and Energy. Since the fall of 2014, he has been an adjunct instructor at John Carroll University teaching introductory accounting and non-profit accounting to graduate students. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a School Treasurer License in Ohio.
