School Psychologist

Constellation Schools is accepting applications for a School Psychologist. The School Psychologist facilitates the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with Section 504 and IDEA. As the School Psychologist, provides for the delivery of psychological services and evaluates pupils referred for multidisciplinary evaluations to determine appropriate educational programs.

Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist

Reports To: Technology Director

Position Summary: The Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist is primarily responsible for exporting student data from the student information system, processing the data, and importing the information into various online curriculum programs. Secondary responsibilities include direct or indirect support of the technology department staff and providing technical expertise, as necessary, for Constellation Schools staff and students.

Status: Full-time, year-round, non-exempt

Responsibilities:

  • Export, process, and import student data into online curriculum programs and online testing platforms.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy policy while viewing, retrieving, and transmitting data from the student information system.
  • In collaboration with various technology team members, ensure technology resources are available so that staff can perform efficiently and students can be successful learners.
  • Communicate effectively with administrative staff, school principals, teachers, and peers.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot all computer hardware, software, peripherals and network devices.
  • Create, update, and maintain instructional and informational documents for use by teachers and building leadership.
  • Create and maintain detailed records & notes relating to projects, hardware, procedures, etc.
  • Analyze needs and processes, suggest improvements relative to areas assigned.
  • Address inquiries effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the Staff Handbook and all Constellation Policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director and/or Executive Director.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial experience with Windows-based computers and software.
  • 3-5 years of experience with G Suite and Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on spreadsheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate users as well as provide technical support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, maintain the confidentiality of privileged information and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work collaboratively as an integral member of the technology team.
  • Willingness and ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities.
  • Able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Able to consistently follow protocol and instructions.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment, as needed.
  • Able to maintain professionalism and respectfulness in all interactions.
  • Able to support the values, mission and goals of Constellation and its schools.

Work Environment:
While performing these duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift 20 pounds; able to reach, bend, sit and stoop. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Employee sits the majority of the time.

Local travel to various worksites may be required.

Instructional Coach (2 openings)

Constellation Schools is accepting applications for 2 Instructional Coaches. The Instructional Coach is responsible for facilitating State mandated programs (RESA, assessments) and provides support, and professional development coaching to all teachers. The Instructional Coach observes and provides feedback to teachers based upon established standards. The Instructional Coach collaborates with teachers to provide guidance, training, and mentoring as needed to promote both academic and professional growth goals. The Instructional Coach focuses on practical strategies for engaging students and improving their learning with technology integration and the use of data to drive instruction. The Instructional Coach works as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning and growth, in alignment with Constellation Schools' model and expectations.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a current Ohio teaching certificate are required.
  • 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience required.
  • 3-5 teacher mentoring experience preferred.
  • 2 years professional development experience educating teachers or other adults in the integration of technology for instruction and productivity using all of the following modes: modeling, one-on-one, small group, or large group preferred.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to use and analyze multiple data points to support teachers in effort to maximize student learning.
  • Accuracy in keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data with attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
