School Psychologist
Constellation Schools Administrative Offices

Constellation Schools is accepting applications for a School Psychologist. The School Psychologist facilitates the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with Section 504 and IDEA. As the School Psychologist, provides for the delivery of psychological services and evaluates pupils referred for multidisciplinary evaluations to determine appropriate educational programs.

Systems Administrator
Constellation Schools Administrative Offices

Reports To: Technology Director

Position Summary: The Systems Administrator will provide design, installation and management services to ensure all technology and network systems are maintained and operational at all times.

Status: Full-time, year-round, non-exempt

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and maintain Windows server infrastructure, including physical and virtual machines:
    • Physical servers, backup devices, network attached storage, etc.
    • VMware, Veeam, and other network and data management software.
  • Develop, manage and maintain data backup and recovery systems.
  • Create and manage virtual machines for specialized uses (DNS, caching, finance systems, test environments, etc.).
  • Manage and maintain other core equipment (switches, routers, call manager, UPS, racking and environmental controls, etc.).
  • Work in conjunction with outside partners, contractors and service providers when applicable.
  • Understand and apply Microsoft Group Policy, Active Directory settings, WSUS, SCCM, and other common LAN management techniques.
  • Perform daily backup of data from file server to Network Attached Storage, monitor back-up software, check logs and perform recovery tests.
  • Research new technology and make recommendations for purchases to the IT Director.
  • Schedules and performs the installation and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Makes routine decisions on repairs, replacements and expansions subject to the approval of the IT Director.
  • Maintains a complete and accurate inventory of all hardware, software and related supplies.
  • Maintains thorough logs of work completed in the change logs.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial experience with Windows-based computers and software.
  • Proven history of effective network management in a mid-to-large size organization.
  • Combination of education, experience, certification focusing on Windows, Cisco, virtualization, backup, LAN maintenance & optimization.
  • Ability to assist in project planning including timelines, requirements, deliverables, bills of materials.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, maintain the confidentiality of privileged information and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work collaboratively as an integral member of the technology team.
  • Willingness and ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities.
  • Able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Able to consistently follow protocol and instructions.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment, as needed.
  • Able to maintain professionalism and respectfulness in all interactions.
  • Able to support the values, mission and goals of Constellation and its schools.

Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist

Reports To: Technology Director

Position Summary: The Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist is primarily responsible for exporting student data from the student information system, processing the data, and importing the information into various online curriculum programs. Secondary responsibilities include direct or indirect support of the technology department staff and providing technical expertise, as necessary, for Constellation Schools staff and students.

Status: Full-time, year-round, non-exempt

Responsibilities:

  • Export, process, and import student data into online curriculum programs and online testing platforms.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy policy while viewing, retrieving, and transmitting data from the student information system.
  • In collaboration with various technology team members, ensure technology resources are available so that staff can perform efficiently and students can be successful learners.
  • Communicate effectively with administrative staff, school principals, teachers, and peers.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot all computer hardware, software, peripherals and network devices.
  • Create, update, and maintain instructional and informational documents for use by teachers and building leadership.
  • Create and maintain detailed records & notes relating to projects, hardware, procedures, etc.
  • Analyze needs and processes, suggest improvements relative to areas assigned.
  • Address inquiries effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the Staff Handbook and all Constellation Policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director and/or Executive Director.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial experience with Windows-based computers and software.
  • 3-5 years of experience with G Suite and Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on spreadsheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate users as well as provide technical support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, maintain the confidentiality of privileged information and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work collaboratively as an integral member of the technology team.
