Gary Vojtush has been an educator for 10 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Childhood Education from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Notre Dame College. As a classroom teacher, he taught 4th through 8th grades and sponsored various extracurricular activities. His professional responsibilities have also included Principal, Assistant Principal, Building Administrator, LPDC Chairman, and New Leadership Mentor. He currently fulfills the position of Interim Education Program Coordinator as part of the Executive Education Team for Constellation Schools. He seeks to have a positive impact on students, families, and teachers in our organization.

Christine Garten has been an educator for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University. Much of her career has been spent in the elementary classroom, specifically first and second grades. More recently, Christine has been part of the executive leadership team at Constellation Schools, as the Curriculum Program Coordinator. Christine joined Constellation Schools in 2001 and is passionate about education and serving the students and families within the Constellation family.

Joyce Lewis has been in education for 16 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is an experienced classroom teacher, administrator and currently is the Professional Development Coordinator for Constellation Schools. She believes in inquiry based learning where students have the opportunity to acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems, and works with educators to strengthen their classroom skills to support student growth, differentiating instruction through data analysis.

Jillian Lukich is delighted to serve on the Executive Education Team for Constellation Schools as the Support Services Program Coordinator! She leads the talented staff of school psychologists, speech & language pathologists, occupational therapists and school counselors as they work together to provide educational supports and related services to all of Constellation's schools. A school psychologist by training, Jillian holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Psychology Specialist degree from Cleveland State University. She has been fortunate to provide psychological services to students and support services to Constellation's schools for the past nine years. At the heart of Jillian’s work is her unwavering belief in the transformative power of kindness, compassion and caring relationships, and in all students’ rights to be safe, supported and nurtured in school as they grow into the very best version of themselves.

Julia Howerton, R.N, BSN, LSN has been a RN for 21 years specializing in pediatrics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo. Julia completed the School Nurse Certification program at Wright State University. She previously worked at Dayton’s Children’s Hospital emergency room and University Hospital Cleveland Rainbow Babies and Children's hospital. Julia joined Constellation Schools in 2006 as a school nurse. Since 2015, Julia has served as the School Nurse Program Coordinator and oversees the nursing program for all Constellation Schools. One of her favorite quotes is by Joycelyn Elders: “You can’t educate a child who isn’t healthy, and you can’t keep a child healthy who isn’t educated.”

Laura Horvath has been in education for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Cleveland State University where she majored in elementary and special education. As a middle school intervention specialist, she also served not only as the special education liaison but also as an Assistant Principal simultaneously. Currently, she holds the position of Special Education Program Coordinator. She believes each student has unique skills and should have an opportunity to participate in a learning environment that promotes academic and social growth while meeting his or her current and future needs.
