Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist
Constellation Schools Administrative Offices

Reports To: Technology Director

Position Summary: The Online Account Administrator/Technology Generalist is primarily responsible for exporting student data from the student information system, processing the data, and importing the information into various online curriculum programs. Secondary responsibilities include direct or indirect support of the technology department staff and providing technical expertise, as necessary, for Constellation Schools staff and students.

Status: Full-time, year-round, non-exempt

Responsibilities:

  • Export, process, and import student data into online curriculum programs and online testing platforms.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy policy while viewing, retrieving, and transmitting data from the student information system.
  • In collaboration with various technology team members, ensure technology resources are available so that staff can perform efficiently and students can be successful learners.
  • Communicate effectively with administrative staff, school principals, teachers, and peers.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot all computer hardware, software, peripherals and network devices.
  • Create, update, and maintain instructional and informational documents for use by teachers and building leadership.
  • Create and maintain detailed records & notes relating to projects, hardware, procedures, etc.
  • Analyze needs and processes, suggest improvements relative to areas assigned.
  • Address inquiries effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the Staff Handbook and all Constellation Policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director and/or Executive Director.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial experience with Windows-based computers and software.
  • 3-5 years of experience with G Suite and Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on spreadsheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate users as well as provide technical support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, maintain the confidentiality of privileged information and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work collaboratively as an integral member of the technology team.
  • Willingness and ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities.
  • Able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Able to consistently follow protocol and instructions.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment, as needed.
  • Able to maintain professionalism and respectfulness in all interactions.
  • Able to support the values, mission and goals of Constellation and its schools.

Work Environment:
While performing these duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift 20 pounds; able to reach, bend, sit and stoop. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Employee sits the majority of the time.

Technology Integration Coach
Constellation Schools: Elyria Community

Constellation Schools: Elyria Community, located in Elyria, is accepting applications for a Technology Integration Coach. The Technology Integration Coach works toward improving student performance by interfacing with teachers to facilitate the integration of technology into everyday teaching and learning. This will be achieved by developing and conducting professional development sessions on infusing technology with an emphasis on Google Apps for Education, into the core areas of academic curriculum; providing input and recommendations regarding software purchases and district technology plans; and providing input/insight on ways to increase teachers' use of technology as it positively impacts student performance in the classroom.

The Technology Integration Coach will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning and growth. The Technology Integration Coach will focus on individual and group professional development to refine instruction focused on student growth through personalized and differentiated instruction using 21st Century Skills and Google Apps for Education. They will promote teacher innovation and reflection. In order to meet this purpose, the Technology Integration Coach will provide personalized support based on the goals and identified needs of teachers, both individually and in small groups, through the use of district assessment data, and curriculum maps. The coach will work to develop an effective Instructional Technology Integration process that results in measurable improvement of engagement and learning for every K-12 student.
