Dear Constellation Schools Families,

We worked to provide our staff the opportunity to receive vaccines for COVID-19 if they had an interest. The availability of the vaccine established by the service providers offered our employees an important component to the safe return of staff and students to our buildings. The scheduling and administration of the vaccines will conclude on March 20, 2021 supporting our next steps outlined below.

In the next few days you will receive a survey allowing you to designate the preferred education environment for your child/children. We understand that the circumstances of each family is personal and that this decision can be difficult. We will phase in our return to school. Students will initially return to school following our Hybrid Learning Program or remain in our Virtual Learning Program. Parents/Guardians will make this determination. Those families selecting the Hybrid Learning Program can expect their child/children to return to our buildings the week of March 22, 2021. Schedules will be finalized and communicated by your building leader once survey results are received and reviewed. Families will also have the option to remain in our Virtual Learning Program for the remainder of the school year.

We will continue to plan our course cautiously and will communicate at a later date when students will return to our buildings five days a week. Families will continue to have the option to have their child/children remain in our Virtual Learning Program.

Dear Constellation Families,

We understand that there have been several comments regarding adhering to the dress code policy for the remainder of our school year as we prepare to return students to our buildings. We recognize and appreciate that these are difficult times for our families. It is our intent to seek Board approval next week for a dress code modification for the 2020/2021 school year. The approval has identified permission for students to wear clean blue or black jeans, as well as other dark/light-colored tops/sweaters. We do expect compliance to school appropriate attire. We have no concerns regarding obtaining Board approval for this variance. We hope this helps in your decision making in the days ahead. Please discuss any further concerns with your building leader.
