Welcome Back to Lorain Community

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Lorain Community School! I hope you and your family have enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. As we prepare to begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am thrilled to welcome both our returning families and those joining the Bulldog family for the first time.

Before the school year begins, I would like to invite all families to attend our Open House on Monday, August 17, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers and staff, visit classrooms, drop off school supplies, and learn more about what to expect for the upcoming school year. We look forward to seeing our Bulldog families there!

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and our staff has been working throughout the summer to ensure that our school is ready to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for every student.

Last year was a year of tremendous growth and progress for our school. Together, we strengthened our school culture, increased student achievement, expanded opportunities for students, and continued building a community where every child is known, valued, and challenged to succeed. We are excited to build upon that momentum this year.
