Puritas Community Middle (5-8)

Dear Families,

At Puritas Community Middle School, we believe the middle-school years are an important bridge between childhood and high school. Our students in grades 5–8 receive a well-rounded education that combines strong academics with hands-on projects, technology, character development, and opportunities to discover their individual strengths. I am proud to be part of a school that works to ensure every student feels safe, valued, supported, and capable of achieving success.

One of the greatest benefits of Puritas is our commitment to meeting students where they are. Small-group and individualized instruction allow teachers to provide additional support or enrichment based on each student’s needs, while classroom Smartboards and one-to-one Chromebook access help students develop the digital skills. Students also receive a well-rounded experience through English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, art, and physical education.

Students are encouraged to grow outside the classroom through Student Council, Homework Helpers, Game Club, Running Club, Tutoring Club, Chess Club, Spelling Bee, basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball. School traditions and events including STEM Night, Junior Achievement, award assemblies, and Eighth Grade Promotion. These events give students opportunities to celebrate their accomplishments, develop school pride, and build lasting relationships with classmates and staff.

Our qualified team of experienced leaders, certified teachers, instructional aides, and student-centered support staff embraces a growth mindset. We work with students, parents, and our community to create a positive school culture where students feel safe and valued.
