Puritas Community Elementary (K-4)

Dear Families,

Located in a historic 1848 landmark in the Westpark community, Puritas Community Elementary provides students with a well-rounded educational program that integrates social-emotional learning and character education into daily lessons. Our school features a hands-on, project-based approach to engage all learners.

We teach four core subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies) and three specialty subjects (Music, PE & Writing Workshop). We also support our bilingual students with specialized English Language Learning.

At Puritas Elementary, we customize instruction through small group learning and education technology. Our classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and 1:1 Chromebook access for each student.

Academic and social development of all students is supported by a qualified team of experienced leaders, certified teachers, instructional aides, and student-centered support staff.

Our school hosts a number of events and traditions to engage students and families throughout the school year such as the Monthly and Quarterly Award Assemblies, Back to School Event, Monster Mash, Carnival/Field Day, Promotion ceremonies, and more.

Thank you for choosing Puritas Community Elementary!

Sincerely,
