Parma Community Middle and High School (7-12)

Dear Families,

Parma Community Middle and High School provides students in grades 7-12 with a well-rounded educational program that prepares them for college and career opportunities. We emphasize hands-on and project-based learning with a focus on character education.

We customize instruction through small group learning and education technology. Our classrooms are equipped with Promethean and/or Smartboards along with 1:1 Chromebook access for each student.

We support students’ growing sense of self with elective and extracurricular offerings:

  • Middle School Electives: Art, General Music, PE, Health, Algebra I, Spanish for HS credit (8th grade only), Choir, Band & Character Education
  • Middle School Sports:  Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball, Cheer, Futsal
  • Middle School Extracurriculars: Drama Club, Game Club, Student Council, Dungeons and Dragons Club & Junior NHS.  If we don’t have what you are looking for, let us know and we can create various clubs to student interest.
  • High School Sports/Extracurriculars: Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football, Art, Game Club, Drama, Student Council, National Honor Society, Creative Writing & more

Our qualified team of experienced leaders, certified teachers, instructional aides, and student-centered support staff embraces a growth mindset. We work with students, parents, and our community to create a positive school culture where students feel safe and valued.

In addition to a lively campus life and many opportunities to explore special interests, students can begin earning college credit in grade seven through a College Credit Plus partnership with Cuyahoga Community College.

Students enjoy several events and traditions throughout the school year such as Homecoming Week, Middle School Adventure Trips to Camp Y Noah, Columbus, and Washington DC, Eighth Grade Promotion, MS Field Day, Scholarship & Awards Assembly, 12th Grade Graduation, PBIS Quarterly Rewards and more.

We encourage families to attend special events and become active members of our Parma Community Middle & High School.

Sincerely,
