Parma Community Intermediate (4-6)

Dear Families,

Parma Community Intermediate provides students with a well-rounded educational program that integrates character education and social-emotional learning into daily lessons. Our school features hands-on and project-based learning to engage all learners.

We teach four core subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies) and five specialty subjects (Music, PE, Art, Social-Emotional Learning, & Writing). Students can also participate in extracurricular activities including Lego Club, Green Club, Spirit Club, Craft Club and Board Game Club. We customize instruction through small group learning and education technology. Our classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and 1:1 Chromebook access for each student.

Academic and social development of all students is supported by a qualified team of experienced leaders, certified teachers, instructional aides, a school counselor and student-centered support staff.

Our school hosts a number of events and traditions to engage students and families throughout the school year such as quarterly family engagement events, Field Day, the Scholastic Book Fair, Black History Month, the Heart Health Challenge, The Team Tressel Fitness Challenge and more.  Our students enjoy memorable field trips including a day trip for 6th graders to YMCA’s Camp Y-Noah.

We hope you join our amazing school community and become our next PCI Aviator!

Sincerely,

Todd Luecke
Principal
