Welcome Back to Eastside Arts Academy!

School Year 2026-2027

Dear Eastside Arts Academy Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

I hope your summer has been filled with rest, laughter, and special moments with family and friends. As we prepare to open our doors for another exciting year of learning, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to both our returning families and those who are joining the Eastside Arts Academy community for the first time.

At Eastside Arts Academy, we believe that in every child lives a spark. Our mission is to ignite that spark through high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and opportunities that empower scholars to grow academically, socially, and creatively.

This year, we remain committed to fostering a school environment where every scholar can SOAR:

Safe
Organized
Accountable
Respectful

These values guide everything we do and help us create a culture where scholars feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their very best.

As we begin this school year together, our focus will be on:

  • Providing engaging, high-quality instruction in every classroom
  • Building strong relationships with scholars and families
  • Maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment
  • Supporting academic growth for every scholar
  • Celebrating the unique talents and gifts of each child

We know that a strong partnership between home and school is essential to student success. Families are a child’s first and most important teachers, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day. We encourage you to stay connected through school communications, attend school events, and reach out whenever you have questions or concerns.

Whether your child is entering kindergarten, preparing for middle school, or returning for another
year at EAA, we are excited to partner with you in helping them reach their fullest potential.

Our theme remains:

One Voice. One Vision. One Village.

Together, we will continue building a school community where scholars feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Thank you for choosing Eastside Arts Academy. We are honored to serve your family and look forward to an incredible year ahead.

With gratitude and excitement,

Brian K. Draper, Sr., M.Ed.
Principal
Eastside Arts Academy

“We believe that in every child lives a spark. We will ignite it with knowledge, kindness, and
courage—empowering scholars to think critically, lead with empathy, and live with purpose.”

P.S. Please watch for important back-to-school information regarding Open House, school
supplies, transportation, uniforms, and the first day of school. We can’t wait to welcome our
scholars back to campus!
