And the Constellation: Madison Community Team

Dear Madison Community Families,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Madison Community School. My name is Dominique Pugh, and I am truly honored to join this incredible school community.

For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my career to education, serving in many roles from paraprofessional and tutor to teacher, instructional leader, dean, and now principal. Every step of my journey has strengthened one belief: “When schools and families work together, children thrive”.

While I am passionate about education, my most important role is being a mom to my beautiful daughter. She reminds me every day why this work matters. Like every parent, I want her to feel safe, loved, challenged, and inspired when she walks into school each morning. That is exactly what I want for every child at Madison Community School.

I believe that a school is more than a building, it is a family. Our students deserve adults who believe in them, encourage them, and hold them to high expectations. Our families deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and heard. Our community deserves a school that is a source of pride.

I know that trust is earned, and I look forward to earning yours. My door will always be open because I believe the best ideas come from listening to one another. Whether you have a question, a concern, or something to celebrate, I hope you will feel comfortable reaching out.

Together, we will build a school where every child is known, valued, challenged, and celebrated. There is so much potential within our students, and I cannot wait to see all that we will accomplish together.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Madison Community family. I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to meeting each of you. Together, we will create a school where every child has the opportunity to succeed and where every family feels they belong.

With gratitude,

Dominique Pugh, M.A.T.
Principal
