Welcome Back to Parma Community Intermediate

Dear Parma Community Intermediate Parents/Guardians,

What a great time of year with the celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday, the Guardians playing good baseball, and the start of the Browns training camp. There is lots of excitement in the air! Our PCI leadership team has already begun planning for the upcoming school year looking to build upon the positive momentum achieved both academically and from a school culture perspective this past school year. This packet of information will answer many questions you may have regarding the upcoming school year.

Our Open House will take place on Monday, August 17th from 1-3PM and 4-6PM. The PCI teaching staff and administrative team look forward to seeing our returning families as well as welcoming new families to our great school community. This will be a great opportunity to tour our facility and meet your child(ren)’s teacher(s).

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 19th. Our school hours remain the same as last year 8:00AM-3:15PM with doors opening at 7:45AM. Free breakfast and lunch are available for all students each school day.

A copy of our dress code is included in this summer information packet. I’m happy to announce that the School Board has approved the addition of Khaki colored pants to our dress code options.

Included in this packet are your student’s results from this spring’s Ohio’s State Tests. If you are new to PCI, your scores should be mailed to you by your previous school. I look forward to seeing you at Open House and partnering with you and your child(ren) to make this a fantastic school year.

Sincerely,

Todd Luecke, M.Ed.

Dear Parma Community Intermediate Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

My name is Stephanie Sandoval, and I am honored to begin my second year as Assistant Principal at Parma Community Intermediate. After completing my first year in this role, I am excited to continue serving our students, staff, and families and to build upon the strong relationships that make our school community so special.

Education has always been my passion. Before transitioning into administration, I dedicated several years to teaching science, writing, and engineering for grades 6-12, collaborating closely with students and families in various educational settings. These experiences have helped shape my belief that every child can achieve success when schools and families work together to support learning and growth.

At Parma Community Intermediate, our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students are encouraged to learn, lead, and grow. As an Aviator, I am committed to helping all students develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

I am incredibly excited to help our Aviators SOAR this school year! Together, we will continue to foster a culture of respect, responsibility, perseverance, and achievement. Whether through classroom learning, school-wide celebrations, or family events, I look forward to seeing our students reach new heights.

I also look forward to reconnecting with our returning families and welcoming those who are new to PCI. One of my favorite parts of being an administrator is partnering with families and seeing our community come together at school events throughout the year. I hope to see many of you at our open houses, concerts, family nights, and other special activities.

Thank you for your continued support of Parma Community Intermediate. It is a privilege to serve this wonderful community, and I am looking forward to another fantastic year together.

Here’s to a successful school year and helping our Aviators soar!

Warm regards,

Stephanie Sandoval
