Westside School of the Arts (K-8)
Dear Families,
Since 2007, Westside Community School of the Arts has provided students with a well-rounded educational program that specializes in visual, fine and performing arts. In addition to cultivating artistic talents and appreciation of the arts, our school features hands-on and project-based learning to engage all learners. Character education is integral to our curriculum.
We teach four core subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies) and many specialty subjects (Art, Band, Music, Orchestra, Social-Emotional Learning, Technology, Visual Arts & Writing). We customize instruction through small group learning and education technology. Our classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and 1:1 Chromebook access for each student.
Academic and social development of all students is supported by a qualified team of experienced leaders, certified teachers, instructional aides, and student-centered support staff.
Our school hosts a number of events and traditions to engage students and families throughout the school year such as Arts Showcases, Kindergarten & Eighth Grade Promotions, Field Day, Science & Invention Fair, Spelling Bee, Buckeye Hope Writing Challenge, and more.
Thank you for choosing Westside Community School of the Arts!
Sincerely,
