Constellation Schools is very happy and excited to WELCOME Ms. Jean Rizi, as the NEW Principal of Westpark Community Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year!

Ms. Rizi has been an educator for 31 years. Most recently, she held the position of principalship at Maple Leaf Elementary in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Prior, she served six years as an assistant principal in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and 19 years as a classroom teacher.

During her principalship at Maple Leaf, the school earned gold in PBIS. She is an advocate for character education and social emotional learning. She enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues to maximize learning opportunities for students and families.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University, a master’s degree in administration from Cleveland State University, and a K – 12 Reading Endorsement from John Carroll University.

She is a proud mom of three children and enjoys spending time reading books and traveling.

She emphasizes, “It is my privilege to lead Westpark Community Elementary! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture that is conducive to teaching and learning. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year!”
