Congratulations Constellation Schools: Parma Community High Class of 2024

On Thursday, May 23, Constellation Schools: Parma Community High celebrated its Class of 2024 at a 6:30 pm graduation ceremony held at the school. Seventy-three seniors received their high school diplomas, many of whom graduated with multiple seals and special honors.

Special guests included Sarah O’Bryan, Constellation/ACCEL Schools Superintendent and Jon Foreman, who delivered the keynote address entitled “Memories from Actions, not Algorithms”. Alexandra Socol presented the student address, and Emily Maynard, Class Valedictorian, presided over the tassel turning ceremony.

The Class of 2024 began high school during the uncertainty and disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite challenges, 10 Parma students earned college scholarships, 10 graduated with academic excellence, four received an honors diploma, and three received recognition as National Honors Society members. Two students earned their Tri-C associate degrees: Marissa Demkoqicz, Associate of Arts and Samantha Puts, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science.

“Each of our 73 seniors has demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and dedication these past four years of high school,” said Parma Community High’s Executive Principal, Bob Klinar. “We are very proud of our students’ high school achievements and their hard work in overcoming obstacles to reach this milestone.”
