Constellation Schools Shine with 17 Awards at 2025 ACCEL Leadership Summit
Constellation Schools earned a remarkable 17 awards at this year’s ALIVE25 Summit, the annual gathering of ACCEL Schools leaders from across the country. These awards celebrate our schools’ commitment to excellence in academics, teaching, and student success across Northeast Ohio. Special recognition goes to Constellation Schools: Elyria Community, Parma Community, and Westpark Community, each receiving the prestigious ACCEL Gold Award, which honors schools with exceptional academic achievement and strong or growing enrollment. Executive Principal Kate Ryback was named Executive Principal of the Year for her exceptional leadership. Teachers Shannon Aufmuth, Anna Kontos, and Marissa Schofield were each honored as Teacher of the Year in their grade levels for their exceptional dedication and positive impact on students.

Held annually, the Accelys celebrate the standout achievements of educators across ACCEL Schools’ network of 85+ public charter schools, which serve students from PreK through 12th grade. Awards honor excellence in areas like student attendance, teacher commitment, enrollment growth, financial stewardship, and academic progress.
