Announcing Key’yana Gordon, New Assistant Principal of Stockyard Community School
We are excited to welcome Key’yana Gordon as the new Assistant Principal of Stockyard Community School!
Key’yana is a dedicated educational leader and youth advocate with over a decade of experience in academic administration, student support, and community-based services. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Ursuline College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Bowling Green State University.
Her career reflects a deep commitment to fostering positive school cultures, improving student outcomes, and empowering young people through both academic and social-emotional development. She has served as Principal at Archbishop Lyke School, where she led a team of 20+ staff, implemented strategic improvement plans, and utilized data-driven approaches to enhance student achievement. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, restorative practices, and inclusive environments.
Her prior roles—including Dean of School Culture, Dean of Corporate Work Study, and multiple positions in community mental health and youth services—have strengthened her expertise in conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and building strong partnerships between schools, families, and community organizations.
Key’yana will be working closely with our Executive Principal, Ms. Yolanda Rodriguez, to continue fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to the Stockyard family!
